I am in the midst of writing a series of hotel reviews and I realized I should have included a piece of information before starting – an explanation!
I found Virtuoso through the online world of frequent flyer miles over 5 years ago. To say it changed my life is a huge understatement. I have been flying in premium cabins ever since and it was the discovery I needed for a career change. I wanted to be in travel but didn’t know what that meant and was on the search for the answer when I found Virtuoso. It took a couple years to get my affairs in order to facilitate the change and last year I made the switch and have never looked back.
Let me be clear on something though – it would be a rare day for me to recommend this type of a trip for a client! This was, essentially, a business trip for me with a bit of pleasure mixed in. I stayed in 3 different hotels over 5 nights and literally flew around the world. It was an incredible opportunity for me to see an array of properties which clients stay in on holiday and meet the people I work with over the phone and through email to make the clients stay better. It was a quick week of travel, but very fun!
I have completed two reviews so far:
Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane
In London, I have coming up:
The Savoy Hotel London
The Corinthia London
The Intercontinental Park Lane
The Egerton House
Bvlgari
And for Hong Kong, I have:
The Intercontinental Hong Kong
The Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong
The Peninsula
Stay tuned, I have a lot of great information and pictures to share!
