I mentioned in my 2015 Travel Wish List I have a bucket list of places I would like to explore and see.  Asking a travel advisor to put together a bucket list is like asking them to pick their favorite child – it is really hard not to save everywhere! I tried to narrow it down to a few I have my eye on and am working on making happen.

Belize – My husband and I honeymooned in Belize.  I would really like to go back and stay in the Virtuoso properties this time. We drove by the entrance to Blancaneaux when going to see the Caracaol ruins.  Talk about off the beaten path!! Perfect for romance and adventure.

British Colombia – I have only been to this little slice of Canada. If the rest of the country looks anything like, then all of us south of their border should flock to it.  Victoria, Vancouver, Whistler are all stunning areas.  I can’t wait to visit Banff and take my husband on his dream trip – snowmobiling.

China – Such a large country, I have been to it before and want to go back to see a few more areas including Guillien, Suzhou, and more time at the Great Wall.

Greece – I love archaeology and history.  And the water looks pretty nice too.

Italy – the food, wine, history, archaeology, beaches, olives – oh my!  What is not to love?

African Safari – Elephants and the other big animals are so magical.  I dream of the day I get to see them in their own environment.

Hadrian’s Wall and Scotland – I am a fan of hiking and this seems like the perfect way to experience some history.

Ireland – I would love to do a drive around the country. And I hear they have some pretty good brew, too.

Grand Canyon – the two specific activities are hiking and rafting.

Independence Day in Boston – answer is pretty obvious here. 🙂  I would want to stay at the Fairmont Boston and walk the Copley dogs they let guests take out.

Greenland – I am a bit fascinated with the idea of going somewhere where the only noise you hear is nature itself.  Natural Habitat is a great way to get there.

Galapagos Islands – this is another one with a pretty obvious answer.  Those Blue Footed Boobies are some pretty cute birds, too.

Hike Machu Picchu – I love history and archaeology.  Macchu is a place I have dreamed of since being a little girl.

Fiji and Royal Davui – I found out about the Royal Davui at Travel Week last August.  Overwater bungalows do not get me excited, but this place does!  I imagine spending a very tranquil, fun week on this island.

Croatia/Serbia/Albania/Bosnia – this whole area fascinates me.  Some of it is still very untouched by tourism, the countryside is stunning, and there still much unknown.

Uzbekistan – I know, this one is a bit of a surprise to me too.  I have done some research on the country recently as a travel destination and am

And counting!  I have such a wanderlust.  I want to experience this world as fully as possible.  As my children grow older, I am so excited to show them new experiences and see the awe in their eyes.
