Growing up in the Midwest, I first got the travel bug while on long road trips to historic sites across the US for family vacations. After 10 years as a Professional Mechanical Engineer – and spending all my free time doing all things related to travel – I turned my travel obsession into a career and founded Travel By Katie LLC, an affiliate of The Travel Society, a Virtuoso member. As part of the Virtuoso network, I specialize in luxury travel, providing my clients with exclusive amenities, expert advice, and extraordinary journeys across the globe.
My specialty is creating custom itineraries. Through my connections, I am able to work with the budget, wants, needs, and desires of the traveler to design the perfect vacation for them. No two people are the same, nor should two vacations be.
Planning your vacation is my pleasure! My process is a collaboration and I am here to save you time and hassle while managing your most valuable asset: your free time. I work to build individual relationships with every client, creating the personalized vacation you deserve. No two people are alike, neither are two vacations. My great organizational skills and attention to detail will be used to ensure nothing is overlooked when planning your vacation.
