Four Seasons Resort Whistler

Oh, Whistler. Although this was my first trip to the town, it won’t be my last. I am scheming a return for later this year even. Whistler is 2.5 hours from Vancouver airport but can be quicker, if traffic cooperates.

Perfection comes to mind with this Four Seasons. The property has the best rooms and dining of the hotels.  Although not ski in/out, it does have a ski valet shop close to gondola. The hotel is dog friendly.

The lobby is gorgeous.  They have this great little seating area off to the side with a Four Seasons piece of art that was really cute. The hotel has some daily activities like smore’s and hot chocolate.

They had the best breakfast buffet I have seen in terms of variety, especially of healthy food.  The buffet is the breakfast provided as a Virtuoso amenity and some examples of what can be found are: chia pudding, quiche, pigs in a blanket, fruit, eggs, bacon, smoked and cured meats, green smoothies, yogurt with flax, chia, nuts, berries.

The hotel has 178 rooms total of which 95 are suites.   They also have 19 residences. The entry level room is the Superior room, which I didn’t see.

I visited the Deluxe Room is 550 SF and the entry level category for the hotel.  All rooms until the suites have the same layout, but different views. All washrooms feature double vanity and separate soaking tubs and showers. The beds have a zipper top, so if a guest want a very firm mattress, they can take the top off to change the bed type.  The rooms also all have a fireplace.

The gym has tv’s with virtual reality, including spin instructors and running courses.   They have an outdoor pool, full spa, and eucalyptus steam room.

The Four Seasons Resort Virtuoso is a Virtuoso property and through our partnership, I am proud to offer the following amenities: upgrade upon arrival, subject to availability; breakfast daily for two guests; a $100 USD equivalent hotel credit; and early check in/late check out, based on availability.
