Four Seasons Hotel Chicago

The Four Seasons Chicago is in the Water Tower Place area of town or the corner of Michigan and Delaware.  The lobby is on the 7th floor.  Guests enter off Delaware St and take the elevator to the lobby.  At check in, they have the front desk manager come out and greet every guest, which is quite nice.  I was upgraded to an executive suite on the 43th floor.  I was in town for personal reasons and did not visit any other room categories.

The guest rooms are on floors 30-46.  Our suite was on the corner, facing south and west.  We had amazing view, day and night.  We had a nice little amenity of tea and fruit.

The City View Executive Suite is 575 SF.  Guests walk in through a short hall, then enter into the living room, which has a desk, couch, TV, mini bar, Nespresso machine with tea bags, and a view.  A sliding door separates the king bed, which also has a TV. The shower, toilet, bath room are off the bedroom, as is the closet.

The bath amenities are a new brand to me, Malin + Goetz.  They have L’Occitane bath salts to enjoy with the tub.  It is a single vanity and I was surprised when housekeeping left me a ziplock bag for my toiletries for the plane ride home.  I have never had a hotel do that before and their ziplocks are Four Seasons branded.

Turndown service included ice for the bar, mint chocolates, and water. I really liked the housekeeping staff, they were really kind and indulged my desire for a few extra chocolates.

I visited the swimming pool, dry and wet sauna.  Although the dry and wet sauna were small, they were quite adequate.  The views from the pool and jacuzzi were great of downtown.  They spa, gym, and pool are on the 8th floor.  When you first enter the area, a water buffet of three infused waters are available.  By the pool is orange juice, coffee, tea, and fruit.

I really enjoyed my stay at FS Chicago.  They paid great attention to the little details.  It is the little things, like putting a cord clip on my chargers to noticing my tiny airplane sized empty bottle of toothpaste and replacing it with a travel size brand new tube.  Some of their décor can seem dated, like the carpet, but they had so many other details correct I didn’t really notice or care.

The Four Seasons Hotel Chicago is a Virtuoso property and through our partnership, I am proud to offer the following amenities: upgrade upon arrival, subject to availability; breakfast daily for two guests; a $100 USD equivalent hotel credit; and early check in/late check out, based on availability.
